Finnish style meat pie.
I don`t know if any other country has meat pies like this but in Finland we have same kind of meat pies in stores but those are deep fried and these I make in a oven.
Dough.
-2dl Greek yoghurt
-4dl flour
-1tsp salt
-1tsp brown sugar
-0.5tsp baking soda
-1tbsp olive oil
Mix everything together and form a smooth dough you might have to ad some flour.
Let it rest in a fridge 30-60 minutes.
Filling.
-400g minced meat (I used 50/50 pork and beef)
-100g spinach
-1 medium size onion
-4dl boiled rice
-seasonings that you like (I used soy sauce, garlic, thyme, chili powder, ginger, grounded lemongrass and little bit of brown sugar.)
Brown the minced meat whit onion and ad the seasonings then ad the rice and fry a little while at the end turn the heat off and ad spinach and mix well.
Form a little circles whit dough and ad filling then close well and form a little round buns (you can ad cheese in side if you want)
Brush buns whit mixed egg and bake then in oven at 200c about 15-25min when golden brown and then enjoy whit your favorite dip.
